The Penthouse is on the top floor of Surfer's Paradise Ridgemount Resort. It houses the Ridgemount family (and possibly Rosie). The Penthouse has a dining room, a kitchen, a spacious living room, an outside pool, rooms for all members of the Ridgemount family, bathrooms, and Mr. Ridgemount's office. At the end of the hallway is an elevator which leads down to the main hotel.
Trivia
- Since Rosie's never shown living at the staff house like Lo and the rest of the summer staff, and judging from her comment to Lo in the second episode about not wanting to live in a pig-sty, it's likely that she lives in the penthouse with Lo's family.
- If Rosie doesn't live in the penthouse, she at least lives somewhere in the hotel, since her statement about not wanting to live in a pig-sty sort of applies to the entire hotel and not just the penthouse.
- When Emma and Fin saw the penthouse in Slumber Party Animals, Emma was amazed by it and Fin claimed that it makes the hotel's Royal Suite (which is the most luxurious of all the hotel's VIP-suites) look like the staff house.
